FREDERICTON (GNB) – Advance voting for the Valley Waters byelections to fill vacancies in Ward 2 (one councillor) and Ward 3 (one councillor) takes place tomorrow, Feb. 4. Polls will be open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Voters are encouraged to bring their Voter Information Cards with them when they go to the polls to help workers find their name on the list and process them more quickly.
People who are not on the voters list will be required to show identification in order to be added to the list before being allowed to vote.
Voters also have the option of voting by special ballot, which is available at the returning office, five days a week, up to and including election day. Any voter unable to attend polls may also request a vote-by-mail package.
On election day, Monday, Feb. 13, polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
