FREDERICTON (GNB) – Advance voting will take place this Saturday, Oct. 30, for the three municipal byelections being held in the following municipalities:
- Beaubassin East (one councillor);
- Cambridge-Narrows (mayor); and
- Petitcodiac (one councillor).
Polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for eligible electors within these municipalities. Electors were sent a Voter Information Card in the mail this week indicating when and where advance and ordinary polls will be held. Electors who have not received a card can also obtain this information on the Elections New Brunswick website.
Election Day for these municipal byelections is Monday, Nov. 8, and ordinary polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Electors also have the option to vote by special ballot at their local returning office until Election Day, which are open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Any elector unable to attend polls may also request a vote-by-mail package or contact their local returning office to find out what other voting options are available to them.
