FREDERICTON (GNB) – Elections NB is teaming up with Northumberland Co-Operative Dairy to promote the May 14 elections. This is the second time that the dairy has collaborated with Elections NB to encourage voters to go to the polls.

Starting this month, Northumberland Dairy Co-operative Dairy milk cartons will carry reminders to vote for mayors, councillors, district education council members and regional health authority board members.

"We are pleased that Northumberland Dairy was willing to partner with us again, offering its milk cartons to deliver our important message to New Brunswickers," said Michael Quinn, municipal electoral officer. "This provides us with a unique way to reach out to voters and to encourage them to vote."

The Elections NB message will appear on hundreds of thousands of milk cartons during the four-week campaign.

"The objective of our milk carton advertising program is to deliver a message that is relevant and important to the people of New Brunswick,” said Jack Christie, general manager, Northumberland Co-Operative Dairy. “Elections NB was a perfect fit."

Northumberland Co-operative Dairy is a farmer-owned co-operative that has been dedicated to processing quality milk products for distribution across New Brunswick since 1942.
