Pocket Talkers are personal amplifiers that help improve communication in difficult listening environments. They are designed for electors with hearing difficulties but who do not have a hearing aid. These amplifiers are portable and can be used in one-to-one interactions with our elections officials.
Pocket Talkers are only available at all Returning Offices. In addition, the Special Voting Officers will have them at the additional polls. Please note, they are not available at advance or ordinary polling stations. If you feel that you would benefit from using this device, one of our Special Voting Officers will be happy to provide one to you.
